New York, N.Y.— On Thursday, December 5, 2019, the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy hosted its 23rd Annual Holiday Lighting event at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, located in the north end of Central Park. The popular event was attended by hundreds of nearby residents, families, and community stakeholders.

The free event was open to all ages and featured family-friendly activities such as caroling, photo-ops with Santa and friends, musical performances by the New Amsterdam Boys & Girls Choir and The Mistletones, ice carving, hot cocoa, and cookies. The event was rounded out with its signature Holiday Tree Flotilla Lighting on the Harlem Meer.
The Women’s Committee was delighted to have the event’s Founding Sponsor, ConEdison, participate again this year. Their support is instrumental in making this event happen.
