Japanese Flowering Quince
The Japanese flowering quince is a thorny, deciduous shrub best known for its colorful spring flowers ranging in hue from apricot to orange. Its apple-shaped fruit are a golden-yellow color, containing red-brown seeds. In Japanese, the fruit is known as "kusa-boke."
