Wien Walk
Wien Walk is an entrance path located at Central Park’s southeast corner.
From Grand Army Plaza and Doris C. Freedman Plaza, the path follows the east side of the Park connecting visitors to destinations such as the Zoo and the Dene. Lined with benches and plantings, it’s also a popular spot for relaxing and people-watching. It’s named for philanthropist Lawrence A. Wien, who funded the restoration of the path in 1988.
