Parkwide Alert
Due to the TCS NYC Marathon on Sunday, November 1, please expect the following closures and updates:
- From Friday, October 23—Monday, November 2, expect partial and full closures of the West Drive from 67th to 72nd Streets. Pedestrians and cyclists will be re-routed to paths, and cyclists will be asked to dismount.
- The finish line area near West 67th Street will be closed to the public from Friday, October 30—Monday, November 2.
- Sheep Meadow will be closed from Friday, October 30—Sunday, November 1.
- On Saturday, October 31, Central Park South, the closed East Drive, and the southern loop of the Park Drives will be fully closed until 12:00 pm.
- On Sunday, November 1, the following will be closed: all Park entrances along Central Park West between West 66th and 81st Streets, West 61st Street public restrooms, Adventure Playground, Tarr-Coyne Tots Playground, Columbus Circle Kiosk, West 72nd Street Kiosk, and the full marathon footprint within the Park.
