A Walk Through Vibrant Blooms and Secluded Trails
Escape to the oasis within the City and enjoy newly restored landscapes full of blooming flowers.
When Central Park designers Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux set out to create a great public space, they wanted it to feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Meandering trails, naturalistic landscape design, and thousands upon thousands of blooming flowers make their vision a reality every year.
Visitors will see the Park’s recently restored Hallett Nature Sanctuary and Dene Slope, where wildlife and flora and fauna all thrive. Enjoy the natural vibrancy of the area’s blooms and get away from the noise of the metropolis that Central Park calls home.
This tour is roughly a mile and should take about 60 minutes to complete.
