Central Park has New York City’s largest set of public tennis courts — 26 clay courts and 4 hard courts — available for play with a permit from NYC Parks.

If you’d like to play singles or doubles in Central Park, a Tennis Permit from NYC Parks is required. Policies for reserving and using a court are detailed on the NYC Parks website.

Tennis lessons and camps are available at the Central Park Tennis Center. Permits are not required for lessons.
