Kite Flying

Looking to take advantage of a breezy day? Kite flying is allowed in Central Park year-round wherever there are large, open landscapes away from trees. Please respect any lawn closures marked with signs, flags, or fences.

Please respect closures due to fences and red flags. Please also avoid Quiet Zones. Do not leave any string or other materials behind that might disturb wildlife.
