Can't visit the Park in person? No problem. This year, our expert guides are bringing its sweeping views, stunning vistas, sublime natural wonders, and thriving wildlife to you!

Please note that you will need to register for July’s Secrets of Central Park series. Previous registration for June will not extend into July. You only need to register once to receive access to the entire month’s walks. You'll get a confirmation email and reminders with a link to access the series.

  • July 3 - Summer Wildflower Walk

    What's a good word to describe summer? Sunflower, because this season is filled with sun and flowers! The summer months are when many of New York’s wildflowers bloom, so join us in learning more about these flowers and the creatures that keep them looking beautiful.
  • July 10 - Central Park's Playground Animals

    Hippos and frogs and bears, oh my! The playgrounds of Central Park are filled with delightful details to spark imagination. On this playful walk, we’ll explore the menagerie of animals found in the Park’s many playgrounds.
  • July 17 - Summer on the Harlem Meer

    The annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival has been a neighborhood staple since 1993. This summer, it’s back with music, lawn games, nature walks, and more! Check out the history of this beloved local tradition and get a sneak peek of what’s in store this year.
  • July 24 - Welcome Back Conservatory Water's Boats

    Conservatory Water’s adorable model boats, of Stuart Little fame, are finally sailing again after a long hiatus. To celebrate their joyous return, explore the origins of this unique Central Park tradition and take a refreshing walk along the water’s edge.
  • July 31 - Summer Birding in Central Park

    Welcoming over 200 species of birds annually, Central Park is a birder's paradise! While spring and autumn are the most popular times to see birds, summer can also be a great time to observe egrets, ospreys, goldfinches, and many more. Join us on a walk through the Park's forests and water bodies to appreciate these incredible creatures.
