Harlem Meer Summer Festival: Family Yoga Class with Harlem Yoga
Join our new lineup of movement classes for a summer of fun and wellbeing in the Park!
These free weekly workouts will be led by experienced instructors to keep you active and healthy all summer, thanks to partners Double Dutch Dreamz, Harlem Yoga, and Go Hard Dance. Don’t miss this chance to get moving in Harlem’s very own backyard!
It’s yoga for the whole family! Adults and children (toddlers and up) will learn to do yoga together, using games, discussion, music, and more. We will use the nature around us, as well as the landmarks of New York City, to help little ones find fun shapes and practice moving their bodies in different ways. Children learn the basics of yoga, while adults get to stretch, strengthen, and play with their little yogis.
Please bring your own mat or towel. A limited number of mats will be provided while supplies last.
Free registration is required for all classes, except Double Dutch with Double Dutch Dreamz. In addition to registration, all fitness participants are required to fill out our fitness waiver here. This waiver is good for all fitness classes of the 2023 season – you only need to fill it out once! Those under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian complete the form on their behalf.
