Chess for Beginners Workshop

We are delighted to announce we will hold a beginner’s workshop with our annual lecture and simul series from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Participants will be taught the game rules, including how the pieces move and how to recognize and execute basic checkmate patterns. There will also be opportunities to ask the chess experts questions.

This event is free. Register in advance to secure your spot in the Chess for Beginners Workshop. Registration opens one month prior to the scheduled program date. A limited number of walk-up spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
