Women’s Committee
The Women’s Committee is a community of Central Park philanthropists with a passion for preserving and enhancing Central Park.
With a membership of 1,000 the Women’s Committee has provided invaluable support and raises critical funds for the general operations of the Park. Since its inception in 1983, the Women’s Committee has raised over $200 million. Notable successes have included raising funds for the reconstruction of the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, the two-time renovation of Safari Playground, the re-creation of the urns at Bow Bridge, and the current restoration of Conservatory Garden.
The Women’s Committee is governed by its own Board of Directors, led by President Tracey Huff, who was elected for a two-year term in June of 2024.
